Role & Responsibilities 

This position primary duty is to certify the daily work of the housekeeping staff is up to Natural Retreats amazing standards and service. The Housekeeping Inspector will serve as the main interface between the Property Service Manager, Housekeeping, and the Housekeepers with regards to the quality of cleans performed. The Housekeeping Inspector will be responsible for enforcing cleaning standards and other policies related to Sunset Reflections at Natural Retreats and the Housekeeping Department. 

To be a brand ambassador, promoting all Natural Retreats locations and services to guests and colleagues alike. 

Ensure guests and homeowners receive the utmost service, courtesy, and amazing stay while visiting. 

Using the checklist for each residence ensure that all areas have been cleaned and prepared to the high-level standard prior to guest checkin. 

Assist in monitoring ordering and inventory of housekeeping supplies. 

Assist in training of housekeeping team members. 

Monitor and report housekeeping team members performance to Property Service Manager and Housekeeping Supervisor. 

Document all inspections performed on inspectors worksheet. 

Assist in deep cleaning of all managed units and inspections of such deep cleaning. 

Make observations of needed property upgrades, deficiencies in minimum inventories and suggest replacements, etc. 

Assist with cleaning properties as needed. 

Report damage, maintenance issues, and unit needs to management immediately. 

Execute standard security measures whenever entering or exiting the properties. 

Manage the supplies of cleaning materials and linen and reorder when necessary. 

When meeting Natural Retreats, guests greet them in a friendly, welcoming and consistent manner. Address guests needs as they arise. 

If a guest makes a direct request to Housekeeping, ensure that you promptly fulfil the request and if unable to fulfil the request raise with the relevant manager. Ensure that you keep the guest aware of the progress and always communicate in a friendly, positive manner. 

Approach all tasks and requests with a can do attitude. 

Escalate any general issues with the residences to the relevant manager promptly. 

To be an ambassador for Natural Retreats in all areas and to ensure always smart and presentable and wearing the correct Natural Retreats? uniform. 

Document daily linen usage. 

Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
